5/28/19 Partnership Meeting

The Historic Hudson-Hoosic Rivers Partnership is pleased to announce the next regularly scheduled Partnership meeting on Tuesday May 28, 2019, 10AM at Roger’s Island Visitor Center. Scott Keller, Acting Executive Director of the Hudson River Valley Greenway, will give a presentation on the Hudson River Harbor Safety, Navigation, and Operations Committee.

The Hudson River Harbor Safety, Navigation and Operations Committee was created as a result of the US Coast Guard’s Ports and Waterways Safety Assessment done in 2017. The committee covers the Hudson and navigable tributaries from the George Washington Bridge to Fort Edward on the Champlain Canal. The presentation will cover why the committee came about and their objectives.

The Historic Hudson-Hoosic Rivers Partnership is proud to offer this presentation as a part of a series of workshops exploring the different ways members and partners help fill their mission of fostering collaborative projects with pertinent non-profit and governmental entities with an emphasis on both agricultural and open space protection, economic and tourism development, and the protection and interpretation of our natural and cultural heritage. The public is welcome to attend Partnership meetings to learn about this important initiative. You can find more information by visiting www.HudsonHoosicPartnership.org.

**The business meeting of the Historic Hudson-Hoosic Rivers Partnership will begin at 9am, with the membership meeting to follow. Agenda and previous meeting minutes are attached.
