Dear Partnership Members,
The Town of Saratoga and Lakes to Locks Passage are submitting grants that will support the Gateway Visitor’s Center and we need your support. Attached here is a project description and two sample letters of support. The first is a a NYS Canal Corporation grant being submitted by the Town of Saratoga, and the second New York State Council of the Arts (NYSCA) grant being submitted by Lakes to Locks Passage.
Grants from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and the NYS Canal Corp, will support multi-media exhibit for the Champlain Canal Visitor Center in Schuylerville featuring the unique heritage and cultural assets of the Champlain Canal. The NYSCA application will support the development of content that will contribute to exhibits and multi-media travel tools. The Canal Corporation will support fabrication and interior construction of the visitor’s center.
